About Our Sitters

The Animal’s Kingdom sitters are the best Pet Sitters in Phoenix metro area. “Why?” you ask. Our pet sitters are all professionally trained. All applicants have passed a full criminal and civil background check, as well as social security verification. Personal references and past employers are contacted and questioned about the applicant personality and past performance.

Prior to signing contracts with The Animal’s Kingdom Pet Sitting Service, all applicants are required to pass a full training program held by Mango Consultants. During the training, pet sitters are put through their paces with on-site visit instruction, required reading on animal care and pet medical needs, and completion of the pet CPR/First Aid Certification course.

The pet sitters also learn how to perform proper interviews and take detailed notes on individual pet care and dog walking. Only adults 21 years or older with animal behavior skills are contracted with The Animal’s Kingdom, and their interaction with animals is monitored and evaluated during their training process. After being contracted with TheAnimalsKingdom.com, all pet sitters are expected to treat all visits with the utmost professionalism and customer service.

Pet sitters are paired with households that are within 10 miles of their home and have pet species that they are experienced in caring for. The Animal’s Kingdom Pet Sitting Service takes the care of your home and pet very seriously, and it will show in our service. When you decide to hire us, we will send the sitter out to your home to meet you and your pet. At that time, they will fill out a full routine sheet on the care of your pet and home.

Cara Gettings

Cara services the Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert areas.

Cara Gettings, Pet SitterCara Gettings was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. This March of 2010 she moved to the Mesa area. The snow and cold climate had taken it's last brutal winter toll on her when she decided enough was enough of the chilled weather for months.

Starting in her teen years Cara watched friends and family pets when they would be vacationing. She started mainly as a horse sitter as well as other family pets over the years. Cara began her horseback riding passion at the young age of 6 and still rides and competes regularly in three day eventing. She has always said she loves being with the animals more than anything enjoying the quietness of their mannerisms. Even on her bad days the sight of a happy animal immediately perks her up and reminds her how happy that animal is, and so should she.

Growing up Cara had cats from the age of 6 on and at 11 her parents purchased her first horse "Friday" for her. She had him until the winter of 2005 when he passed on. She currently has her horse "Grace" shown as "Southern Grace" at a private facility in the Chandler area. She is a work in progress towards 3 day eventing for Cara. She also has her Miniature Pinscher 10 month old puppy "Versace", the puppy who never stops playing.

Recently joining the team with Animals kingdom coming from 5 years of finance experience in the Auto Industry, now enjoys a stress free life of pet sitting in comparison to the Auto Business life style.

In her spare time she enjoys a good book or a quiet night hanging at the barn with her friends and the horses.
